Another update for the weekend from me. Today I've added a command team to lead my platoon in battle. Lt. Atkinson and Pl. Sgt. Gardiner (helmeted), along with two spare men - here they are in Photoshop glory(?).



They've also brought along some support weapons, a Boys ATR and the mandatory 2" mortar.



Some can be seen, if you prefer, in traditional stripped-down-2D on the blog.
I've also heard rumours of Italian reinforcements coming in soon…

Onwards with third section, led by Cpl Adams. Hereby first platoon is complete and essentially ready for Chain of Command (if anyone can provide an ATR profile?).



After building the full platoon I was left with one single figure (actually and in hindsight, better used as an assistant on the ATR) which I "converted" into an objective marker: a messenger gone astray on the battlefield.
