Wait, what?

yeah i just hope this doesn't lead to a massive Price Increase,(like we've seen with the Dredd Range) once Warlord Games takes over  :? :?

So do we actually know it's Warlord or is the interested party pure speculation?

I don't really know what to think anymore. I pledged nearly £300 back when my personal circumstances were very different...I couldn't afford that pledge now. I want these models badly because they look absolutely fantastic and it's probably my favourite scifi IP.

I would happy drive to wherever Prodos are based in the UK (if they still are) to collect my pledge. I'm sure others would do the same.

Also, I heard the 'interested party' was Mantic!

Dr. Falk: akshulee, I was confused by the assertion that if Prodos is sold on before the KS ships, it'll be sold on after the KS ships.

I think that's either Dr. Who levels of timestream mucking-about, or some kind of keyboard slip.

I'm pretty sure it meant that before being bought out, Prodos will either ship the KS themselves, or ensure that the buyer commits to shipping it.

.... or ensure that the buyer commits to shipping it.

Still royalties to pay on licensed stuff, though - rarely a good recipe for un-expensive minis...

If Prodos properties do go to Mantic, you can bet on a related KS sooner rather than later. Not to officially cover the cost of finalizing the AvP KS tho since Mantic wouldn't be silly enough to admit to such practices.

I think it is only one of these Prodos-Storys I won't believe. Fox as licence-owner knows about the value of the licence. When Prodos got the licence there were no new Alien or Predator-Movies, Now there are three project. And in most contracts a company selling the rights to an other company needs the "yes" of the owner (Fox). And why saying "yes" when there is the chance to get more out of the licence???
But after all these nonsense in the mails it is hard to believe Prodos.

A guy on BGG was doing a tutorial on assembling his Queen.   Sounds like he paid a premium for a shit product.   The resin of the legs does not hold up to the weight of the figure.   Hopefully he just got one out of a bad batch...
