This is pretty nice! The colour choice is excellent, and the paintwork is outstanding  :o

Another resident of the Creek.
Not a BLAM attendee this time, but someone who has been supportive of this thread from the very beginning.

Meet 'Poco Loco', the 'leettle, crazy Mexican'....

A Mexican who reside in town as a gambler and gun for hire who occasionally works for Don Paulo Diaz and his Mexican 'Family'..

Love the mini  :-* I think I need to provide you with a soundtrack of me cursing in Spanish so you can play it every time Don Paulo needs El Poco Loco and his steady (?) sixshooter arm :)

It has such nice subtle colours on it  (ebay purchase) that I resisted brightening up the red to match the rest of the Mexican contingent.
Just a simple rebase and Poco was born.
 :)

You do, indeed.
Although he may spend more time travelling around than you do.

 lol lol lol
I can just imagine that with your Finnish accent.
Hilarious.

Glad that you approve, mate.
You had to be included in some way and when it dawned on me that both 'poco' and 'loco' meant something quite significant  in Spanish, a small bonkers Mexican was the obvious way to go.
 :D

Just taken some pictures of the next few.
Fingers crossed that they are ok when I upload them.....

You really are fantastic in naming and creating background stories! 8)

Well, here are the little blighters.
All tarted up on top of previous paintjobs.

The picture shows the mistakes that I have made, damn my eyes, and I guess I will have to go back and tidy them up at some point.
If I can be bothered....

I am just putting the finishing touches to a few more Citizens right now, between that and painting the hall, that is.
It does seem a little strange going from painting little fiddly chaps to great blank walls all afternoon.... ::)

My brother always says to me "How come you can paint tiny figures, but seem incapable of cutting in walls to ceiling accurately?"

My answer is that 28MM scale allows for a good deal more mistakes!

Not that I would ever entertain playing Inquisitor at 54mm (or Inquisitor at 28mm for that matter!), but it would seriously worry me painting at that scale - you need to be a good painter to get away with it (I consider myself competent enough to get them on the table, and that'll do me). I sit back in awe at the efforts of the good people of LAF on this forum, but it isn't something I am realistically expecting to aspire to. Even an average paint job is better than factory grey when it comes to painting I reckon.

Congrats on such a lovely collection of models for the Creek though Mason. I know you didn't paint them all, and have been at pains to stress where others have done the work, but your own efforts hold their heads up firmly, mate.

Must have another foray down Upsheek Creek way, mate, the last game we played was a killer :).

Glad that you approve, mate.
Everyone at BLAM should have a character done before then.
There are still a few more to fit in

Well I'm coming to BLAM this year and you haven't met me before, so just to give you an idea do you have a figure a with a firm jutting jaw and Greek Adonis like body because that will do ;)

You just let me know when you can fit it into your busy schedule, mate, and we shall.

We could carry on with our campaign or you could try something else, as the next BLAM scenario idea needs a run out or two.
 ;)

Jeff, there were quite a few people who came last year that I had not met, but they seemed pretty happy with their alter egos in the Creek.

Not knowing what you look like is not important as I dont think any of their 'other' selves look like them, it is all dependant on the username and how I can fit it into the Creek.

Jeff965 is not easy but I do have a couple of ideas, along with the others that I have not made a character for yet, but if you are insisting upon a big chin and a an Adonis-like body.... ;D

Just be careful what you wish for!

Whilst we are on the subject of Creek characters-to-be, here is the list of those that still need to be introduced:

Stuart
Jeff 965
Chris Abbey
NurgleHH
Painterman
Oldskoolrebel
Green Knight
Grimm

I should mention that I already have ideas for most of them, but some are more difficult than others.
I will get there in the end, though, be sure of that!

We shall see.... ;)

Bugsda has finished the next four Apache for me.
Well happy with them, as I am sure you can understand why....

He also painted Captain Mancave for me at the same time, hence his appearance in this picture.
Dont worry, he wont be appearing in the Creek (but I may sneak him onto Captain Blood's Cave Wars table at BLAM  :D).

Great paintwork (as you'd expect from Bugsda!) and nice sculpts - especially the one in the middle  lol
