Hi,

Here's pics of some of the black primer painted minis. I'm pretty happy how the weapons look now !

I also prepared the 2 ghillie suit snipers teams (one woodland and one desert/dry) :

Très joli travail mate  ;)

An idea for camo of the special forces ?
It seems they use the traditional camo washed out or a three shades desert camo.

Thanks

For what I've seen from pictures I found, you're right, most of the time they wear CE woodland camo, or Daguet desert camo, or even a mix of them. But I also saw some pics of soldiers wearing CRYE us camo shirts, or even plain black tshirts, for example.

The only thing is to give them a "military enough" look. I think mixing daguet and CE camo should give a unique look to my SF, making them easier to see on the game board (since the figures are relatively small, 20mm).

An update, finally ! I just received Black Ops wich motivated me to work on the special forces sticks :

Same camo that I used for the regular infantry, but "made in Kaboul" tactical vests  lol I will also paint some details differently (like shoes in tan instead of black, "mechanix" style gloves, low visibility flag tag, etc...). But overall, following official french army doctrine the special forces (here, a stick of 1er RPIMA, french SAS paratroopers), the unit can be clearly identified as a military force.

There is a lot of work remaining, but it's progressing !

Yes I have everything to make a game, hundred talibans and afghanistan scenery too. Maybe I should just add a bit of natural scenery stuff.

THe stick is completed, based and varnished, I'll make better daylight pics later, when all the FS will be finished, and hopefully with a bit of scenery too !

Superbe !! Great job !!

they look very generic and that's cool. They are 1er rpima but I think they could be also Commando Marine or CPA 10...and even DGSE Service Action commandos (I don't see flags on their shoulders), those last are perfect for Black ops scenarios ^^
