OK stop teasing us! When will these be available?

I'm not sure as Eureka are in control of that aspect.  :? But I think I can pretty safely say that they WILL be released some time later this year (maybe not all of them at once but each order as they are completed or near completion).

Anyway, Nic is getting some examples painted up but I decided to paint up a couple of test examples because I'm impatient. Please remember - These are tests. No official painting or uniform guide exists at this stage.

So here they are but better and more examples will follow. BTW - I don't think I've posted these poses previously.

I've just started reading the Hawkmoon stories after seeing these figures. I wondered if they might have been a bit surreal and pretentious, written as they were back in the 60s but they are a great read. Getting me right in the mood for this range.

Most of these are on the cards but at the moment we're concentrating on completing the Vulture Legion (only a couple more sculpts to go). There are also quite a few sculpts that haven't been released - mainly because I forgot to photograph them. Currently working on the vulture commander, Astrovak Mikosovar (I think that's his name).

Vulture Cavalry - cool!  :)

Thanks.
Yeah, amongst others I only posted this one on my blog for reasons I won't speculate on at this time. As I said above there are more figures as yet unseen.

Nice stuff as usual! Just one question why no horns on the horse?

Because it's not Karmag cavalry. I'm pretty sure only the Karmag horses are referred to as having horns.
But I could be wrong.  :?

Will there be alternate poses for the cavalry? It would be nice to have sabre and lance armed versions, though a quick conversion will fix the current model to have an ordinary lance rather than a flame lance. Ideally there would be cavalry command - both to put in squadrons and to act as generals.

Sir Barnaby,

Thanks. I really like the Astrovak figure. I'm quite proud of his cape which (on the green) clipped perfectly onto the back. Unfortunately this doesn't work on the cast figure. It's a perfect fit but the weight of the metal doesn't allow it to just hold in place :(

A mounted Astrovak is also on the cards for the future.

Vultures are almost finished and after a discussion today, the next set will be Count Brass' Karmarg troops!

I look forward to seeing Karmag's troops. You've certainly got your work cut out for you with this range. It must be a quandry deciding where to go next. As I read more and more of the books I want more and more of these figures.

I reckon Taragorm the Master of the Palace of Time with his giant clock mask would be a blast to sculpt.

I'm surprised at the lack of visual references there are for the Hawkmoon stories on the web. Plenty of Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings fan art etc but very little for Hawkmoon.
