Constable Bertrand - the truck crossing the tracks in the third photo, what kit is that/how heavy is the conversion? I like the look of it.

Hahahaha, just you wait till they get automated jalopies that can drive themselves. The locals won't know what hit them ;)

It's based on a Tamiya 1/48 Steyer kit, with some plastic sprue, I bar styrene and v groove styrene, a pretty 'basic' conversion but stretching my ability. You can see the build in my Post Apoc thread (includes 2 headed cows) I mix genre's in my gaming, and its fun because I can paint what ever I want. :D The direct link is here http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=57694.0

Go on, its simple and easy, and quick to cross off your list, and quick to play with next time...  >:D  >:D  >:D  >:D

Thanks, I think it works. Will need to take better pics but they show basically what I have done, and it blends enough with the board tiles for now.

Should I build a valley with a rail bridge???? ???

Cheers
Matt

Oh I don't know Paul, I've given you a few leads for SSS and a way forward while your eyes are a bit iffy.  ;)  ;D

Go for it mate.

Thanks James! Not quite the top calibre of stuff around here (aka zepplins, temples and battleships) but it works for my infrequent purposes. My mate is pretty chuffed with the toys he gets to play on too :)

Cheers

I agree - this is beyond average. LAF makes us ALL achieve better than out there in the wargaming wilderness.

I know, mate, only pulling ya leg.
 ;)

As for those cars etc: It is not for SSS, my plan for Khanistan is more of a Spy-fi thing.
The winter setting is just that, plain old winter, not nuclear-winter.
This is to act as a nice balance for the other half of the Spy-fi thing which will be set in the South Asian jungle.... ;)

And regarding my eyesight issue, it is just figures that are giving me grief, scenery is much more forgiving and I shall make a start on my train tracks soon.
 :)

Git!
 :D

That is probably the most accurate way of describing the LAF that I have seen.
Everyone raises their own personal bars on here, to the benefit of all.

Well said, that man!

Thanks guys :D this place is pretty helpful. Ive learned heaps watching all the stuff that pops up. The 'candy' is very encouraging, and sometimes the 'boot' is just what is needed aswell ;) Ive got plans for lots of stuff, but thankfully have tried to resist starting them so far!  lol  lol  lol

Oh sorry, I keep getting that confused, back during the Pappis challenge you were quite curious of the whole SSS thing and put it off till next time. I guess the time hasnt arrived yet ;)

Yeah dirty the suckers up and they will be brilliant, for either setting. Especially if you get some of the utility/4x4 ones too. There is a red old school landy in the set too. Might look nice in jungle green ;)

Good idea Paul! You can't really mess em up, so why not. Jolly good idea that is... wherever you got that idea from...

Some works in progress around town. Landon Ricketts takes the town journalist and investigates.

No unsavouries in there, it's all clear this time. Landon recommends always being armed when going in there.

Cheers
