RPGs seem to place the game in the US?   Damn, some of you must live in REALLY rough neighborhoods!

I should probably have a read myself! I'm wondering it paintball guns could be adapted to be a lot more lethal...although even then they would have serious range restrictions, but there must be millions of them lying around in warehouses...

But compressed air will be a big problem I think....

With all the gun lunatics in the US, we are awash with firearms.  Thankfullly, less people are buying more guns, so unless these anti-government boobs start sprouting more arms...

I live in the United States, and I choose to exercise my 2nd Amendment Right to own firearms. So does that make me a gun lunatic? Painting people with a broad brush isn't right.  :'(  This kind of bigotry always astounds me.   :o   And to answer the earlier question, unfortunately yes, there are some extremely rough neighborhoods here in the US.

Um, I'm not sure why you're taking my comments so personally.  Presumably if you are 'exercising your 2nd Amendment rights' you also think that there are a good deal of gun lunatics running around as well, as you wrote, there are some rough neighborhoods....  Just sayin...

Exactly there are lots of rough neighborhoods, but those are rough becase of social and economic reasons. The vast majority of gun enthusiasts are to afraid to engage in criminal activities becase then they will lose the right to own their toys  ::)
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Thank you commissarmoody, that was well put. There is a difference between law-abiding citizens who own firearms, and criminals who engage in criminal activity with firearms. I own firearms because I want to, and legally can... Just sayin... ;)

By the by, criminals would say exactly the same thing, "I'm a law abiding citizen who only wants to legally own a gun to protect myself from the 'bad people'."  I was on the job for several years, I've never had a perp tell me, "Yeah, I'm a criminal and I bought a gun to harass law abiding citizens.  YOU GOT ME!"  Only you and your local law enforcement know if you are indeed a 'law abiding citizen'.  I certainly have no idea.

As to your 'rights' (and I obly bring this up since you volunteered yourself).  You have absolutely no individual right to own forearms, in fact you have no right whatsoever to own any consumer item at all.  'Rights' are things that cannot be given, nor taken away.  In the US, there is a 'privilege' to own a consumer item.  Now, if you want to talk about 'rights', my absolute unmitigated right to walk around free from harm, or the threat of harm, from you and your firearm trumps your privilege to own a consumer item.

You seem like you have political points to make, this is hardly the forum to peddle one's ideology.  Your very defensive reaction says much more about you than it does about me.  Just sayin...

Feel free to reply, that's your right, but as far as this line goes, I'm kinda done.  You can argue gun privileges with some other folks.

Great batrep Brummie!
Across the Dead Earth makes no comment whatsoever on the ownership of guns in the USA or anywhere else, it is a work of fiction.

You need to get a ladder on that water tower Si, so you can pop a Sharpshooter up there.

You can't see it from the shots but there is a rope round the back of it :D The last shot of Drexyl is standing next to it but the leg blocks the view ;)

Barring any issues of approval, which I don't anticipate, it will run from 1st March to 31st March, so hopefully should cover everyone's pay days!
