For the Nubian guards; it might be an idea to look at Wargames Foundry's Colonial Range.
For the walkers, try Brigade Games/ Parroom/ Victorian Science Fiction/ Steam Tech.

You can start here:

There's lots of optional heads, actually, although the above is a fave. I hope he gets a proper store up soon, as I think that could bring him a lot of customers...

I've found the following websites on Andrew May's Meridian Miniatures:

Funded July 4, 2013; last update Nov. 4, 2013.

Nothing about how to acquire these minis since the Kickstarter ended.

Andrew May, where are you?

Andrew May, where are you?

Have you tried contacting him via pm?
He's a member of our forum, so shouldn't be that difficult ;)

Excellent advice. Should have thought of it myself, but no one has ever accused me of having a firm grip on the obvious.

Just sent Mr. May an enquiry and anxiously await a response. Hopefully we will find that these fine figures will soon be available.

Not in the 'existing figures' category, but instead in the 'stuff I want to see from Northstar' category:

Weapons sprue for conversions, e.g.:

Hunting rifle
Arc rifle + power supply
Arc pistol + power supply - ideally a couple of these
Congreave rocket gun
Arc generator backpack

Not sure if this is what you're looking for in an Arc Generator Backpack, but from Last Stand Convertibles, Steam Powered Back Power Packs:

Not on your list, but they also have Steam Powered Wings and Jet Packs:

Mike, you little bobby-dazzler, what an excellent find!

Not sure if this is what you're looking for in an Arc Generator Backpack, but from Last Stand Convertibles, Steam Powered Back Power Packs.

I'm thinking the third of these, with it's power dial could be just the thing. It even has a transmitting coil on the side.

Not on your list, but they also have Steam Powered Wings and Jet Packs:

I'm thinking that these would count as Ornithopters...

A thousand pardons: I've been showing possible figures in this thread for Thule STURM-truppen (which are gasmask-wearing, gas-grenade-wielding types) and I've been mistakenly calling them TOD-truppen (which are revivified-zombie-jäger types). I think everyone knew what I meant, but I'm sorry if I confused anyone. I have corrected my posts so future generations will not suspect my blunder.

I think that the Crocodile Games Asar Warriors with Khopesh would work for Nubian Guard. The Reaper wild west guns could make the conversion for Ambullah.

For Nubian Guards, I'm going to go with a couple of these guys at some point (veiled ones, with the false ears chopped off).

I can recommend Crocodile Games for a variety of Mummies as well.  Though for the mummy horde i was assembling for Wargods I managed to gather an assortment of Croc Games, Reaper and West Wind for suitable mummies to look like a varied horde.

West Wind has:
a large mummy i use as a 'leader' type http://www.westwindproductions.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=2_37&products_id=334
and for 'lesser mummies' http://www.westwindproductions.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=2_37&products_id=335

For the large ape, i do not personally have the Reaper figure but from Black Orc Games Hundred Kingdoms there was a Great Gor that i use for Joey, my company's Ape with a forthcoming howdah.  The Reaper one should be just as suitable as it is sculpted by the same fellow: Jason Wiebe and looks to be just as hefty.

Have had a successful conversation with Mr. May, dollars have been converted to Pounds Sterling and transferred electronically, and figures suitable for a most devilish Thule's Totenkopf Battalion are on the way across the great Atlantic to my Acre of Paradise in the [former] Great Black Swamp of northwest Ohio.

6 skirmishers, 2 officers with swords and pistols, 2 heavy weapons (rocket launcher and [heavy?] arc rifle), all in greatcoats with gas masks and Pickelhauben. Total, including shipping from UK to US, is £25, which, I believe, is most reasonable.

Totenkopf sturm-truppen

Heavy weapons (will come with greatcoats and same heads as the sturm-truppen)

Will keep you all advised upon their arrival.

You can PM him on the forum: his user name is, appropriately, Andrew May.

Mr. Cartmell:

Being a crude colonial, I actually had to look this one up, desperately hoping it to be some sort of acclamation, or "warm fuzzy," as we Yanks are wont to say.

Thank you for your kind words.

I think.   lol

I have just been raiding my already painted Colonial figures for most of the other figures.  Nubian guards are Ruga-Ruga or askaris.  Brits are brits, Hunters are hunters etc.

I have also turned to my Pulp stuff to form other companies.  Selective shopping of my 30s RCMP Mounties has lead to figures I can use for NWMP Mounties.  My sasquatch is the Yeti figure, nick named Riel, so he is a Meti-Yeti.

Another (probably cheaper) option for the  howdah ape are the zoo figures in some of the plastic ranges for 54mm and 60mm figures (which would certainly be giant next to a 28mm human figure).

Britains did a range in 54mm scale:

Schleich does them in 60mm scale
