Holy crap...4 months since an update! Time for a new one. I rebased and reworked three old paintjobs to make them fit in with my Cyberpunk models and I painted the first of my Games & Gears battle boards:

The Major

A paintjob I did about 5 years ago. He was already in NMM, so didn't have to rework him. Rebased him and done!

Cyberchick

Extremely fitting for 80s Cyberpunk and a great old Werner Klocke sculpt for Excalibur's excellent Fearless game (I think she's called Thelma). Her outfit of course is really silly, but fits the theme well. I like how she's all chromed up. I had to redo the metallics and made the green and skin color a bit softer in tone.

Cyborg

Ancient paintjob...I think I painted him around 2000. He was in the big box of Trinity: Battleground. Awesome box to get if you can find it cheap. It has some cool miniatures, great scenery and the game itself is interesting (although a bit difficult). I redid all the metallics (which was a lot!) and rebased him. Didn't adjust anything else for old times sake. Cool Cyberpunk model and he will fit in well with the rest as a cybered and drugged killing machine.

Battle Board tile 1
I received the Battle Boards back in June. What a TERRIBLE Kickstarter and what a TERRIBLE company. Nothing but lies, smoke and mirrors and utter bullshit by them...but at least I have my boards. But still: I'm not ever going to buy anything from them. Ever.
The boards themselves are okay for 60GBP, but need a lot of work. Only the roads are painted, but the sidewalks are just bare plastic. So I had to mask the roads, prime the sidewalks (with a sand color) and paint the small brick pattern with dark brown. I then sprayed Modelmates Weathering Sprays over it, rubbed most off and then applied some drybrushes. Last step which needs to be done is to add some varnish to protect it all.
All in all, I'm happy with the boards but they need a lot of work (for a product which was supposed to be painted...). Three more to go to build a full table.

I'm staying with Cyberpunk now for the coming time, so expect more updates in the coming months!

That's a hell of an update!  The Major looks fantastic!

I really like the Cyborg too, very Necromunda Spider looking.

I'm glad to hear that you are working on Cyberpunk again, I love this thread :)

In Castle we trust! I loved also Cyborg's colour scheme, it works very well.
Great tread, I will follow it with interest.

Another vote for the Cyborg. Nice work, as usual.

+1 For Mr. Not-Dallas, although his gun is kinda big ;) And that cyber chick... well it is beyond me why Mr. Klocke had to give her bare cheeks  ::)

I mighth ave mentioned it already in this thread, but have you looked at East Riding Miniatures Corporate Wars range? Very cool CP models.

Thanks guys, real motivating to see these reactions :)

@Cherno: Yes, I love ERM! In fact, I have used three of the models for my first Cyber Alley league (I gave the Leader a big visor and gave the dude with two pistols an antenna):

I have also lined up a full group of the trench coats to act as a pseudo-Syndicate League.

Malebolgia,

Good to see you back.  So have you gotten a copy of Pulp Alley Leagues yet?

Nope, not yet. There are some other games now hot in my gaming time...but I will surely get back to Pulp Alley. I'm also working on a selfmade Cyberpunk rules system as Pulp Alley doesn't give what I aim for in Cyberpunk games. I'm working on it, on and off...but it's getting there. It's influenced by Pulp Alley, Deadzone, Malifaux, Warmachine...so basically all my favorite games :)

Looking good, although sad to hear about the Battleboards ballache.

As for the green Werner Klock lady... Well, she's definitely cyber-punk! lol
