Historical Wargaming Survey
« on: 06 February 2014, 04:15:35 PM »
I am doing a quick survey on the gaming preferences of historical wargamers. If you have a minute I'd appreciate it if you could answer the questions at this link:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ZL8M5S9

Thank you!

That was actually an interesting survey.

I thought so too. A good range of intelligent questions that seems to cover a lot of the aspects of wargaming.

I debated number 14 (?) as there are two answers that applied depending on how Question/answers  interpreted.

Otherwise, a decent survey with reasonable choices.

Gracias,

Glenn

Edit:  This one.

Do you generally stick to a couple of preferred scales, or do you pick and choose based on the game?

I generally only game in a couple of preferred scales

I choose an appropriate scale for each game I play

I will play the same game in multiple scales!

Thanks for the responses. If you know someone who would be interested in doing the survey but is not on LAF (or doesn't go past the themed forums) please feel free to direct them here.

Interesting survey. Like some of the other posters, I am curious as to the surevy's purpose. Care to expand?

 but question 13. ?
measurement determined by base size ??

I have NEVER played a set of rules that goes on the line that you move 6 times your base depth ect... IS there any rules out there that goes on these lines ?

I might of failed this test as question 18 was very Hard for me to answer as they are all very important at the end of the day ..

if I do pass drinks are on mee  :D after the club meeting  :)

Again very thankful for all the participation. All I can say is I'm part of a secret project and we wanted to see what the community has to say about historical wargames.
