Thanks in advance

What scale? I assume 28mm? Eureka Miniatures make some more flouncy ones based on the 1973 film adaptation:

The BBC production is a little gritty in its look - I think some ECW/TYW ranges would suit.

Eureka's are advertised as 40mm, not 28mm, not that I have seen them in the flesh.

Try brigade games (us). They have a small range and warlord makes a cardinal

Redoubt have a fine range of 1970s Musketeers.

I have both the Redoubt and Brigade ranges but I think I prefer the Redoubt ones. They are bigger, more like 30mm. They are compatible with their TYW/ECW range where there are more musket armed miniatures to increase the force a bit

I rather fancy Blue Moon's 15mm range. It seems to have all the characters required.

Thanks for all the replies i like the gritty look of the main characters in the series  sort of interests me more than the  pretty image from the movies lol

I don't know the series, but a GIS showed me the characters, and honestly, the first thing that came to mind when I saw them was "Witch Hunters".
So maybe looking at Witch Hunter figures would be a possibility.

Looking more, I think this guy is close.  I recognize him, I think I have that figure somewhere. He's from a box of ECW plastic figures, but I can't recall who makes them at the moment.

DS615 meant this guy:

As stated, I think campaign ECW/TYW figures will give that gritty look.

Ian,

Have a look here on the Foundry site.....

http://www.wargamesfoundry.com/our-ranges/eldorado-and-swashbucklers/seadogs-and-mercenaries-collection-bcsb002/

Not sure that they have any specifically in silly leather armours but you could easily paint them on. If you're still going to the Edinburgh club, Jack might be the man to talk to about converting some to suit?

Darrell.

The seadogs have too much of an Elizabethan look to them....  You need something more English Civil Warry.......
