Thanks for that - I sometimes highlight with silver, but I never thought about mixing black into a basecoat layer.

I have begun statting up some Uruk-Hai scouts to act as adversaries, until I have painted my Vikings warband, and I shall start taking pictures of them tomorrow!

These were painted previously, I am just statting them up for Blood Eagle right now, so I am not as prolific as you give me credit for.  

Actually, I am doing this because I cannot get going with painting my Vikings, and I want to get some warbands on the table to test the Blood Eagle rules.

I shall post pictures of the finished warbands, but I want to re-base the models, first (I want to get rid of the slottas and put the minis on smaller washers instead). As soon as I am done with the profiles for the Uruks, I shall start that little modelling project!
