Ahhh, yes rare as hen's teeth but twice as pricey.

I have a complete set of them, including my late 1980s paint job!  :-)

The game was super fun to play, but we never actually played with the miniatures.  We used the standup cardboard pieces.  I meant to make a larger version of the board so that the minis would fit but life got in the way, and now here we are, 25 years later.

Yes we used the card pieces too... the boy slug has the game in his room now -claims I "gave" it to him - a likely tale.

I originally used the standees, but saw a boxed setup at a con in Denver, saw how convenient and popular it was, and knew I had to give it a try.

Mine was MUCH grittier than his.

Originally had black painted flame-sculpted bead styro for the walls (yes, well ventilated, but thanks for asking), but eventually a friend replaced with Aliens-esque Wild Walls.

A box like these,  you can make a board lid, attach the figs and paper work to the inside, and it travels very well. Least, that was the next step I never took.  ::)

Edit: Even had a drawer pull on the edge as a carrying handle...
