Thanks for putting the images up Phreedh, a much better job than I'd have made of it.  :)

Thanks for putting up the photos Phreedh.  The Battle Beasts look like fun.

- All the "individuals", ie Adventurers, Civilians, Ship's Crew, Personalities, Stella Starlight´s Casino and Aliens as well as Robot Legions

Are there any photos of those knocking around?  They are the ones that I am most interested in (seeing as I have a nice number of Phagon beastmen types already).

I had trouble registering there the last time that I tried, so I gave up.  Ill keep an eye out for more as they get released I think, rather than pine after OOP miniatures that I dont even know exist yet :)

The Phagon that I got from EM4 were the very best metal castings that I have ever got my hands on.  Close to zero clean up, lovely.

I can only echo that sentiment. Any miniature I've bought from EM4 have been next to flawless!

Yep, I've ordered though EM4 (And Forlorn Games) so many times now and never had a dodgy or badly cast figure... some comes with a weird grey undercoat on though  ???

Based on what I see I chose to (only) vote "other" because

1) Only the "civilians" hold any interest

2) I don't want to register for another web site just to see pictures of OOP miniatures that may go back into production (where, hopefully, the seller will have pictures,) because if you can't show pictures without registering for a web site you don't want my (quite likely small pittance of) money.

3) IIRC, which is debatable, these trooper types didn't make enough of an impact at the time to be stored in my erratic memory.  As always, memories of older miniatures may be colored (+/-/neutral) by past experiences.

4) I don't want to influence a poll on miniatures unduly as I probably won't buy the other miniatures (like the current pictures,) which are nice but not where I am taking my SF part of my hobby.  Hence only the "other" vote and not three votes.

Gracias,

Glenn

Problems?  ::)

Yes.

The registration page tells me that my gmail address, the one that I use on LAF and every other forum cannot be used.  I dont speak German, so getting to the bottom of the problem seemed more trouble than it was worth.

Try registering again please.

For the record, www.metalmagic.de is a private forum for discussing and showcasing Metal Magic miniatures. No selling or money involved. =)

I've put up a few more pics of the remaining parts of the range. Remember, these are only samples of each range. To see the full contents (in higher resolution) you know where to go by now. It's free of charge. ;D

Robot Legions

Stella Starlight's Casino box set

Specials, Aliens and Personalities

Adventurers, Civilians and Ship's Crew

Thanks once again to Viruz for allowing me to hack up his pics. =)

Do we know if EM4 Doug has the entire range of moulds?  Or just a selection?

I believe he has or had them all. He's been a bit noncommittal about it really. Probably overwhelmed by the number of codes. And isn't he retiring?

In all honesty, it really pisses me off that an entire range of figures, that people keep asking about fairly regularly, is just languishing somewhere. Maybe Doug or Forlorn Hope should sell the moulds on to someone like Midlam Miniatures (who picked up a lot of the Metal Magic fantasy moulds when Mega Minis sold them). They've got them back into production fairly quickly. Or just anyone who would get the Spacelords range back into metal.

Harrumph. ;)

I understand how you feel about it, but on the other hand I can see how it happens too.  I guess the sales of the Spacelords that EM4 have already made available may not be significant enough.

Having just had a poke around on the forum (thanks again Viruz) I can say that I would very happily pick up the cantina set and a number of the civilians and adventurer types if they were made available.  Its interesting how few of those sorts of sci-fi models are around.  I suspect that civilian miniatures just dont sell well, for fairly understandable reasons.  There is a demand for sci-fi civilian types on forums like this of course, but that because this place is full of older guys who already have far more spacemen with guns than they need.

I really must get around to painting my Beastmen...
