Lovely. Really captures the NWF.  ;)

Group shot if you get a chance would be wonderful.

Hot glue gun

Thanks... but to be more specific, do you mean that you glue the edges together so the chip doesn't fall apart when you mount it?

BTW... if at the end of your project if you decide that after all that work you don't like it... please PM me and I'll give you my address. I'll happily take this terrain off your hands.

I'll even pay for the postage!  ;)

Sorry Ray, no the kind of bark chip I used means it's very solid.
Hardly any flaking,
I did think about washing the finished hill before painting with PVA but did not bother....which I may live to regret...
I'll let you know

Boy, you have some great looking terrain there.
Really like how you did the hill for the tower. Just super.

The large hill is my favourite. It really is a very effective technique. Well done sir  :)

Hmmm....

I'll have to chat to the porter of our building and ask him to buy a better quality bark for the garden.

The stuff I stole he has is crap and flakes like crazy.   ::)

Keep up the good work, mate. Your terrain is gorgeous.

Great work, I'd like to do something similar but then I'd just chuck it in a plastic box and it would get chipped to buggery lol.

I got lucky and a wholesale garden supplier gave me bags of old samples of something called 'Spanish Bark'. Dense and hard stuff. No longer imported into the UK.
Garden centre bark I found too small and brittle.
There is something called Reptile Jumbo Bark chips but I cannot find them in UK (ordinary Reptile Bark chips are no use).

Thanks for the kind comments Gents.

Those hills are the bees knees and useful in so many arenas of war. Superb.
