The problem with the Excalibur is that I KNOW it's modern.  Takes all the fun out of it.

I could see the Shadow driving one of these! If I could get one in 1:1 scale I'd have to dress like The Shadow I think!

I'd be happy to have one in 1/43 or 1/48. :)

I do like that Eldorado, I'd love to drive that but it wouldn't fit in some the country lanes and villages round yer!

I don't know if it's my dream vehicle, but I fell in love with my motorbike (an '86 BMW K75c) and I hope to keep it for as long as I can!

Good man! And it is a classic :)

Some lovely motors!  8)

Outside of the era in the OP but I always thought this was a great car for gaming:
The "Beast of Turin" 1910 Fiat Tipo S76 built around a 28.4L airship engine. Smell the rubber burn!

Good lord what a monster.

The fact that the drivetrain appears to be barely one step above that of a bicycle might be more terrifying than the sheer size though!

EDIT: It's 28 L and only FOUR CYLINDERS!?! What's it take to start that thing? A Coffman starter firing 75mm shells?!

The Beast is awesome! Looks like a fifty- fifty deal if the car or driver dies first.

I want a VW Thing or a Kubelwagon.  My 'dreams' are modest...

This car is the 1974 "Highway Aircraft Corp.-Fascination", 4 cylinder three built here in Sydney Nebraska. I met the owner /designer /manufactor in 1974 at the Westroads mall here in Omaha. I forgot all about this car.
