IOn Age miniatures questions
« on: August 30, 2014, 12:19:16 AM »
1) I see http://theionage.com/ comes in 28 and 15 mm sizes but I thought I was told they came in 6 mm also in the "distant past."  False memory?  If they don't is there anything that come sin 6 mm that looks like the 15 mm ones?

2) Does anyone distribute them in the USA?  I would start with NobleKnight.com  first but right now I have a busy evening ahead of me so can't go there (or anywhere else online) until probably Saturday afternoon...

Gracias,

Glenn

Glenn,
Yes, Noble Knight is the US distributor.  I don't believe there was ever a 6mm version of the range.

They did use to sell some of it in 6mm, but I think they're currently in transfer from Alternative Armies to Ion Age. I do hope they'll become available again!

I had "memories" of mass formations on stands...

They still sell the 6mm figures at 15mm UK. http://www.15mm.co.uk/collections/6mm-science-fiction  IIRC they are a bit larger than 6mm.

A single page (shopping cart) would be easier than to split everything up to Alternative Armies, 15mm.co.uk or the Ion Age.
"I'd like to send this letter to the Prussian consulate in Siam by aeromail. Am I too late for the 4:30 autogyro?"
"Uh, I better look in the manual... This book must be out of date. I don't see "Prussia", "Siam" or "autogyro"...

I have to agree 100%, especially when I want to order from 15mmUK and Ion Age at the same time.  Who thought this was a good idea?!? >:(

Yeah it's a bit silly, at £5 min postage costs even to UK addresses 3 seperate orders adds up.

Lovely stuff though.

I think it's about branding...

In any case, if you email Gavin, he should sort you out with combined postage.

I've heard that if you email an order to alternative armies, they will put together one package with products from any combination of their lines/sub-companies for you.
