I really like the use of that flower pot as the base of the project. Kudos. :)

 lol
That reminds me that I still want to send you a pic of that minotaur I painted. Gotta get my arse up to make the photo first... ::)

Thank you very much for the nice comments, guys...!
I found out that there is a german beer called 'Faust' down there in the south. I knew instantly that I needed a bar towel as a dice mat. Bar towels are not used(Or at least very uncommon...) in Germany because of some silly law, so look what I have bought on ebay from a british store:

I started painting the outside first, I primed it very irregularly, so that was easily sorted using washes only:

...and the inside got painted, too:

When everything was finished, I decided that the floor should look a bit grimy in a proper tavern. So I added some stains:

I highlighted some of the edges to have more of a 3D effect, it had to look used, grimy, bleached and worn; all at the same time:

The furniture was painted using some drybrush and washes. I put them in the tavern to see if some adjustments were needed regarding the colours. After that, it looked something like this:

A tavern needs some kind of sign with the name on it. Being one of my projects, it had to be a moon, so I sculpted some moon plaque and the name for the tavern was found:
THE WICKED MOON

That's it for now, hope I can make some more photos next week.

 :)
