You know these are so good they've really tempted me to pick up some of the Warlord games Soviet plastics and have a go myself.

Thing with the Russians is that they are dead easy to paint since the uniform was so basic.
En masse they (almost) always look stunning. It's the khaki/ green combo I think. A bit like 40k Imperial Guard

For the Russians it's mainly Citadel/GW paints, uniform is Zandri Dust.
