Hold on, who's this lot?

Why it's my D&D group! What say we go around and meet the folks that I occasionally get together and roll dice with.

This is Aldur, a character my DM rolled up, but is so far yet to play. Maybe he'll make an appearance when I step in occasionally as DM.

Aldur hails from a city called Sanctuary, where everyone strives to be the absolute best at their chosen field. Since the city is built into a mountain, space is at a premium.

What compelled Aldur to leave his home is a mystery, but maybe it has to do with his pact with the undying light?

The model comes from exmanus studios. Every year at moab, I buy a model from him. Some of his sculpts are so-so, but I liked this one.

This barbarian lass is Sierra Foxtrot, childhood friend of my character, Wildfire Magni (who you can see on the previous page.)

Sierra and Wildfire bonded over a shared talent for the lyre (which is apparently a trope in chinese war films?) but since Sierra is nomadic and Wildfire is a noble, they didn't hang out much after that one meeting.

The fates intervened and brought the two back together in a dodgy tavern in Neverwinter to adventure together and smash goblins into a fine, arrow-filled paste.

Sierra is meant to be armed with a greataxe, but aetherworks didn't have a barbarian lady with an axe who quite fit the bill, so I made do with a greatsword. Besides, who's to say she won't find a magic greatsword at some point?

I'm not sure why the picture's so dark on this one, but trust me when I say that this is Rieta, the tiefling ranger.

Rieta and Wildfire seem to take turns being either really good or really horrible at archery, which they sass one another about relentlessly. Again, the model is a reaper.

This dwarven lass is Diesa, the Druid.

I'm not sure what compelled Diesa to take up the adventuring life, but she's handy with her hammer and flames.

This is another reaper model and honestly, the second I saw it I knew that it was perfect for Diesa. Sturdy, wielding a hammer, covered in runes and junk...it was tricky to base, though.

This is Rolen, one of the newer members to our group. He's an elf monk who fell from an airship with a halfling and a dead body that had fallen on his own sword. As it turns out, the dead guy was a slavemaster and I got myself a free sword.

I don't know much about Rolen's character yet, but he strikes me as the type of elf who always tries to keep positive and I painted his robes to reflect that. The model's another reaper, but with a citadel spear tip.

This is Lynen the halfling and I bet you're all thinking that he's a rogue, right?
Well, he's actually a warlock. Of the Archfey. With about three daggers.

Why would a warlock need three daggers? Not sure, but just listen to this little tale: while clearing some bandits out of an inn, Lynen grabbed two of his daggers (one which had been lodged in an underling's throat) ran across a table and shouted, 'watch me jump!' as he leapt through the air and landed on the bandit leader's shoulders, plunging each in and holding on like some macabre rodeo.
It. Was. Amazing.

I honestly had fun painting this reaper model. The fact that I made his cloak green was pure luck, since I'd forgotten that he was a warlock of the archfey while painting him.
