Had another hour this afternoon.  Started on the running gear.  The struts are intentionally cut long for the moment.  That way I have a bit of play in the design.  Engine is pretty much done too.  Working on skis and details next then back to the lake.

Tentacle makers.  I picked up the set last year.  As I said I am a tool whore.

I was getting my fat fingers stuck in between the engine mount and the engine with superglue involved so I decided to clad it.   >:(
Thanks for the comps all.

Where I am as of today.  The aerosled is pretty much done.  I think I have a few more details that I might be adding.

I have added the oak trees, stumps for the pines, secured the frozen lake surface down and started to build up the groundwork.  The groundwork only took three days to dry out.  I still have another layer of groundwork to add which will finishing hiding the edges of the lake. Then off to paint.  Snow, icicles and slush will be added last.

It does not look like much but that is a good four hours worth of work over a three day period.
Hope you like.
