Looks like it was my idea so here goes. My brother and I are offering to run this game, we will probably need one more GM. Below are our first ideas. Any comments are more than welcome.
The idea of the game is to have a large pirate game with a large number of players.
I believe that the game would require three GMs, one for each table
Three 6 x 4 tables will be used for the playing area.
Two of the tables will have two ports/islands placed at either end. The port /island will take up approximately 2 x 2 area, leaving the rest of the table as open water.
The third, middle, table will be open water with monsters, ghost ships and other nasty encounters
Red highlight is something we already have. Yellow Highlight is things we are intending to build
Players Number of players has still to be decided. More pirate ships can be added and the ghost ship can become GM controlled

Rules
The table will be split into 2 squares ships can only fight other ships in the same square. Wind direction will be determined in each square, ships can only travel to the next square with the wind. Ships travel a square a turn.
Ship fights will be similar to the rules from Fistful of Seamen Blog
We will need a simple set of rules to resolve other types of fights. Trying to resolve massed combats with single dice rolls affected by Captain stats
Gold Doubloon values will be given to every ship and cargo. The player with the most at the end of play, is the winner
