Hm. Somehow I've only just noticed this thread. I haven't painted anything in about 3 months. On the other hand, I *have* just got a fancy new camera. And Salute *is* just around the corner... I wonder if I've any figures that have not previously graced the LAF...

A week you say? I like a challenge...

Took my photos but have another dilemma. Parts of them have gloss varnish on which looks fine in reality but shit in a photo so I think I'm going to have to matt varnish them for this, keep my fingers crossed they don't 'fog' and then do the gloss afterwards

Yes it can.

A lot of the interest in the LPL comes from seeing newly painted or previosuly 'unpublished' figures or models.
That's why the 'new' bonus points are there. To motivate people to paint new figures, and to submit different teams in as many rounds as possible.

But of course, from time to time, people run out of time or real life gets in the way. Then people have to use figures they've already shown online or in print before, or run with an entry for more than one round. That's okay. Needs must.
