I'm looking forward to this. Even more than the Men Who Would Be Kings to be honest. And that's even though I hardly play anything but Lion Rampant and Dragon Rampant.  :)

My thoughts exactly!

I think this could prove really interesting!

Well, anyone who manages to get to Salute and has a chat with the Studio tomahawk guys at the Foundry stand, any details on the game would be greatly appreciated.  :D

Even if it's just base sizes, so I can start getting some stuff ready.  ;)

Try and get hold of April 2016 Wargames Illustrated - it has a Congo preview in it. Bases appear to be 25mm round bases in that preview. :)

I wouldn't mind even getting hold of Congo in French - I can give it to the school club as homework.

If there are any French forum members out there with old copies of "Ravage" etc that don't want them I'd be happy to recycle them.

Looks like the style of games I intend to aim for with IHMN, when I get around to it (focussing on Dark/Middle Ages right now).
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

Bugger I knew I'd forgotten something on my list! How did I miss this?I said to myself at least 3 times to get over there and as usual got waylaid staring at every stand that I passed.
Looks bloody lovely too but I didn't see it in the flesh. It would seem I shall simply have to buy the rules instead to satisfy my African urge

Looking forward to getting my hands on a copy!!

That set up looks stunning too! I don't suppose there's anyone on here who knows if those trees are scratch built or if you can buy them?

Some of the foliage elements are familiar to me as a plastic aquarium plants. So they are probably scratch builds.

Yes, find some twigs with a lot of branches, get some aquarium plants or other plastic plants (IKEA have some useful ones), cut them up, and get the glue gun out.

I think an amount of vegetation like on that table could be done in a couple of hours (given the materials at hand). Then, of course, there's basing and painting...

BTW IKEA had perfect 28mm Baobab Tree really cheaply, but when I went to get them month later they were no were to be seen.. So grab IKE trees you want when you see them :(
