I like the boxed starter-set idea!

Not too convinced about the paint sets though, wouldn't it be better to put the exclusive miniatures in the boxed sets?

That is a lot of different tokens.  One of my pet hates is cardboard tokens or mini dice on the tabletop, and I like to replace them with a marker which blends in if I can. I suspect it is going to be a struggle to work out what to replace them all with.  Arrows imbedded in the ground would do for the firing modifier, if anyone makes them in 28mm, and perhaps a spear or hand weapon for the melee modifier.  anyone else thinking on similar lines, or am I alone in hating cardboard counters? :-[

You're not alone. I'll probably use little ceramic 'rocks' with designs pressed into them.
