Asked Foundry about the boxed sets, they said should be available in next two weeks, maybe pre-orders before then.

Good news. Although I'm just after the rules Adi already have some figures to turn towards this.  :D

Two weeks for the box sets?  Bearing in mind they are supposed to be launched when the game comes out, that looks like another potential release date has come and gone.  Grrrrr.

I dare say I will buy it whenever it eventually appears, but the wargaming wheel of interest is always turning, and something else will be at the top again soon.

We are just waiting for the customs to let our parcels of cards and punchboards get delivered. This should be this week. The books are already here. Foundry is currently casting and packing the figures, and as soon as the stuff gets in our warehouse, we will have a definitive release date. The thing is that we had to produce the accessories oversea, and we have no control over the boat transport and customs checks.

Cheers

That is a lot of different tokens.  One of my pet hates is cardboard tokens or mini dice on the tabletop, and I like to replace them with a marker which blends in if I can. I suspect it is going to be a struggle to work out what to replace them all with.  Arrows imbedded in the ground would do for the firing modifier, if anyone makes them in 28mm, and perhaps a spear or hand weapon for the melee modifier.  anyone else thinking on similar lines, or am I alone in hating cardboard counters? :-[

The tokens in the game can easily be replaced by counters. You will need 5 different ones for the five different effects of the counters. The tokens will be useful though, as you have to draw them randomly, but one this is done, you can easily replace them on the table by a nice base with something mimicking the effect of the token.

Cheers

That is useful to know, thank you!

So I will need something to replace the tokens for melee, firing and movement modifiers.  What are the other two please?

There's a new video on the Studio Tomahawk facebook page that previews the four sets (actually five...) from Foundry.

They look really good! The hype is definetly high right now!  ;D

One depicts a hand, and has some meaning in the game. The other is a tribal mask with a different meaning. Everything will be clear once you have read the rules.

Thxs for your interest.

cheers

Belgian - good spot!  But I give in; where did you find them?  I tried ST's Facebook page (and WF's) as well as both websites.  Can you provide a link please?

They look great. I think you're missing the tribal kingdom set though, but much more industrious than I'd have been. Thank you for posting.  :)
