I have been following the development of this game for some time now, I am currently painting some Red Box figures for a small skirmish game based on this (photos to come in April). They have just started an Indiegogo campaign for the English Translation which I am backing, worth the money for the artwork alone.

Swedish video here:

English video on previous link.
A selection of artwork.

Lots more pictures in the fundraiser gallery including an amazing tree house/Inn I would love to build. Just have to hope I can stick with this project until the scenery building stage. I would love to have something to bring along to BLAM 2016

Great art indeed. I have the swedish version and it is worth it for the art alone :)

INSPIRING STUFF indeed! I love the Lady with the rooty tree & the ruins just below it...I can feel two new settings coming on.

Very impressive.  Game artwork sure has come  along way since the days of Judges' Guild.

After looking to this amazing art, I was also thinking in the "Red Box Games" miniatures!

Fantastic. Thanks for sharing it.

I came acros Symbaroum a few months ago, it was the first time in my life I hated not knowing Swedish... The artwork is beautiful, and what I understood of the setting sounded intriguing.
Thank you for bringing the Indiegogo campaign to my attention! (my wallet resents you though...  ;) )
(Ack! Shame that the poster perk is Sweden only...)

The Kingdom of Avalon minis would also be a good choice for the setting.
And they size up pretty well with the Red Box minis  :)

They have now added a poster perk and a printed canvas perk.

There is also a brief outline off how the rules work:

Re-opening this thread as I have just finished reading the rulebook (currently available on DriveThruRPG: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/163293/Symbaroum--Core-Rulebook), the game is well worth getting, the rules are very inovative with all dice roles by the players leaving the GM free to concentrate on the story. The background only focuses on a small area of the planet, leaving a lot of room for latter expansion or freedom to build your own aspects of the world.
After a rather barren period painting miniatures I have resumed the painting of the various warbands based on the Symbaroum background, I have also written some nordic skirmish rules for use in this setting, once I have finished the painting I can start playtesting, I hope to share progress fairly soon, but looking at my past record don't hold your breath........

Does the PDF have all the artwork too? I've been looking for a background to set some fantasy games in, and this looks fantastic.
