Sadly, Copplestone only has the rifle-armed Inuit still available.
Back from the dead, almost.

Here are some evil snowmen. That would be snow constructs, or ice elementals. A big disclaimer: this is not my idea. It is one of the reasons I got into Frostgrave though: one late friday night some weeks ago I stumbled on a series of wonderfully painted Frostgrave miniatures and conversions on Google. One of the monsters was this Copplestone evil snowman and I bought them a few days later.

Here is the one after the example:

Here are his companions. They are less menacing but fun nonetheless. I cut of the stove hat and replaced it by sand. It's supposed to be a patch of reindeer-moss.The scarf on the other one remains a bit too modern, but I tried to remediate that by making it look sort of traditional finnish.

My last LAF team,Evil Henchmen. These started out as feodal Chaos Knights in an attempt to incorporate Chaos in a Dark Ages setting, with feodal knight armour being the best available. They fit in perfectly with Frostgrave so finally I painted them.

These are Crusader's Teutonic Knights with headswaps. An ancient german and a dark age saxon head. The others are West Wind Arthurian heads.

I've become increasingly obsessed with snowflake patterned tiles and I'm building some ruins with them.

They are all great! I thought about using crusader figs as well as I think they will fit my copplestones pretty good.

Can you tell me where the dwarf is from?

Nice stuff and I do like a Copplestone design. I'm thinking of using a couple of Gripping Beast plastics to help add numbers to my warbands for this.

The dwarf is an old Grenadier model. The only 28mm dwarf Copplestone ever did, that I'm aware of. As I understand he did the three-ups for the Fantasy Warriors plastics in style of Nick Lund's dwarves. This must've been a character model for those.

I just finished my first ruins today:

I did not know he ever made an 28mm dwarf.

Has any of the companies that sell the grenadier stuff rereleased him? ???

Thank you two!

I finally found him. It's not that easy on their pic... You should say he has a hammer instead of an axe on the picture.

He can also be had from here: http://www.forlornhopegames.com/index.php/hikashop-menu-for-categories-listing/product/873-leader-with-hammer/category_pathway-33
Propably at a cheaper shipping/faster delivery. (Though Miniature-heroes is a most excellent retailer too. They just have to order in)
