I got this hole cutter from hobycraft. Good for thin card and plastic card.

A couple of pounds. It is not very sturdy. Only good for thin stuff. On plastic card it will score a good line so you can snap out the circle.

That would be fine, as I only want to do some large non-standard sized bases out of 50 thou card. A couple of quid sounds ideal to me  :D
