An excellent model, and your efforts (even if "basic Army-standard") still show him off wonderfully! :)

Any thoughts on which ghouls you'll use for your undead models?  :)

Ah, sorry - I repainted as well as rebased - not trying to show off! He was pretty much basecoated/drybrushed/washed before, so I gave him a thorough makeover following my new 'paint everything as nicely as I can' ethos ;-)

As for the ghouls, I was going to use Paul Muller's originally, mixed with a few old metal GW; but while I was up in the loft I found 3 boxes of unassembled GW plastics that I hoarded and totally forgot about, so it looks like I'll be using those! lol

Oh, that is a nice model. Would like one of those.

Those open wounds really look realistic. Wonderful as always.

Cheers!

I've made a fair bit of use of the technical paint 'Blood for the Blood God' during this project (which is virtually identical to Tamiya Clear Red). Never really used it before as it seemed a bit OTT, but used sparingly it looks really... icky!

Yeah, I don't use GeeDubs normal paints, but I found theire special stuff range has some very usefull products.

You did great with the blood paint! I tend to go about OTT when I use it, but you've created a great effect.

I'd have to agree with that. The agrellan earth is a great paint as well.

Barely had the time to get anything finished last week, but my messy painting area is strewn with half-done and barely-started minis, so I decided to get cracking and finish some of them!

Behold: a Night Goblin Boss, which almost completes my Night Goblin contingent for Dungeon Levels 1-5! (Just need a few Squigs and herders).

Really like this model. Very crisp, clean lines, lovely to paint.

I have that Little Rogue lurking somewhere in The Vault of Pack Rattiness. Your OUTSTANDING creation may motivate me to dig him out for some attention. VERY WELL DONE...I think!

No update for over a week. Ugh - so much going on right now that my painting time has been eaten away. However, I have made a few choice purchases for the project on Evilbay. Foremost among them are these beauties - a pair of Khorne champions.

I remember really wanting these models when I were a young 'un, and drooling over the Mike McVey paint jobs, but couldn't afford them with my pocket money. Ah, the perks of being an adult but still a big kid at heart ;-)

I've mentioned before that I'm saving my Chaos Champions as a treat for when I've got the basic set finished, but I might crack...
