Been a little while since the last update. We had a lengthy break from our campaign over the Christmas & New Year period, but gaming is about to pick up again. I've realised that I don't have enough Skaven or Chaos Dwarfs once our party levels up, so my painting table is crawling with rats right now!

Just a quick update this time, with a test colour scheme for my Stormvermin. I think I'm going to do 6 like this, with mostly red armour, and another 6 with varying amounts of rusty metal for contrast.





I quite like these old two-part metals. The faces aren't so great tbh, but hey: I have loads of them in storage, so it sure beats paying ebay prices for the more recent updates!

Those are great -- I would be quite content with them, too. I agree...the red looks awesome for their armor. And I like the way you do the blade of the pole arm, too.

Those Stormvermin are still on the painting table - I'm not a fan of batch painting, so every time I get a bit bored I tend to throw paint onto a different model to break it up a bit. Using this method, I just finished a Chaos Dwarf Sorcerer Lord. I don't know about you, but I think his hat is a little too modest. He could've gone bigger

Not the best iteration of Stormvermin in the Citadel archives tbh, but they're the one I had, and have you seen the prices of the others? Yikes

That Chaos Dwarf's outfit makes me laugh- if being a sorcerer doesn't work out he could be in a hair metal band or something. Wanted: Tailor. Must be able to sew copious numbers of lightning bolts. Ability to communicate clearly with hatter on design language a requirement. Dark Lands only, no remote work.
