I was able to get a bit of work done this project here and there and figured now is a good time to show off some more pics. I don't really consider any of the buildings done at this point. They are just waiting for the next level of detail to be added. I have also acquired more of the honeycomb material so progress on bulk buildings can start finally.
I needed a table to try and see how many buildings I would need. I had a sheet of paneling tucked away so I cut it to sort of 2x2 or there about. I am not a stickler as I don't want the "math" to be that apparent in movement and fire distances.

A bit of watered down woodglue and play sand makes the city blocks. It got sprayed with black undercoating and then I hit it with some blackboard spraypaint to matte it down. I have not decided how I want to handle the roads yet. Part of me thinks i should cheat and just shrink down some of my world work games stuff and glue it on. The other part wants to see if I want to suffer through painting lines by hand.

I have started to add the overgrown static flock to the board. I am not sure how "green" I will be in the end. But I don't want to go crazy until I figure out how I am going to detail the roads.
Just a few pics of the stuff together.

One more building done, two more almost ready to start painting, and enough materials to make high-rises in all of the city blocks.
Thanks for looking and I am always happy to hear comment and ideas on how to make this better.
