Time for an update! I've finished a new miniature and some scenery.
Apprentice NecromancerAn ancient Citadel wizard and I really like him. A bit of an odd sculpt, but with loads of character. I went with greenish tones and added P3 Coal Black to almost every color to tie him in with his master and to make all colors a bit cooler in tone.
Wight King (Templar)I finished this one two years ago for a Delves campaign, but figured he was excellent for Frostgrave as a Templar. So I added snow and added some highlights to the bone. The miniature was an experiment in fast and efficient painting: he was colored in base colors, dipped with a home made dip and then received some fast highlights. About two hours work, but I was real happy.
WarbandHere's the whole warband, so the Wizard, Apprentice, Templar, Warhound and the zombie I use when I raise one from the dead. He was painted in a similar way as the Templar.
Scenery - Fountain (Fenris Games)Excellent model, which was sculpted by LAF's Redshadows IIRC. A blast to paint! I didn't know what to do with the top, so decided to turn it into a big flower pot
Scenery - Statue (Fenris Games)The statue itself is also by Redshadows...the plinth is a resin plinth by Fenris and the base is a 60mm AT-43 base. Supereasy paintjob and the weathering is done with Modelmates weathering liquids. Supereasy to use and fast!
Well - Tabletop WorldMan oh man...what a FANTASTIC cast and model. So much detail and everything is crisp. Lots of character and an excellent addition to my village.
Altar of Cthulhu - Fenris GamesA must-have for every Cthulhu fan and a great objective piece for many games. I didn't know what to do with the sigil...but blood always works well when it comes down to Cthulhu
Evil standing stones - Fenris GamesNice small additions to the gaming table. I wanted to emphasize the engravings, so I made them bloody. Fast, effective and they pop well on the table.
Evil graves - Fenris Games Nice and simple additions to the graveyard and they fit in well with my Cthulhu scenery.
So done for now. Next up will be some soldiers...but first back to Cyberpunk...
