Repainting D & D Attack Wing minatures?
« on: August 25, 2015, 04:55:37 PM »
I'm looking at the Dracolich for a little project I'll be sharing soon. Are they like Heroclix as far as being able to strip & repaint? Anyone have any experience with these?
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.

No real clue there, but if you want a dracolich, there's the older WotC mini that was re-"printed" as part of the Castle Ravenloft board game (unpainted there)

Not sure what scale your looking for, but here's a 28mm, unpainted, kit of excellent detail:

Damn that's gorgeous! Unfortunately I think it's a bit too big for 15mm.

I dunno, some Dragons can never be too big!  :D

Unfortunately I have no experience with hero clix stuff, tend to avoid it like the plague.

I've been using Reapers smaller dragons as 15mm dragons, they fit in very nicely, I think I even remember someone using one in a post on this forum for a 15mm diorama with a knight. This one is my favourite https://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/dragon/latest/02549.

Its a tad expensive, but if you want cheap, many are now produced in the Bones series, which may be worth a look. Don't have to strip them either!

Wanna see big dragons. Look into the dragon sizes in the Iron Kingdoms world.
Makes some D&D dragons look like grub worms.
