Love the kit bashing, have to say you beat me too it, I went and acquired a spruce of frostgrave cultists, soldiers a BA Russian and German spruce as well as a box of Wargames Factory Russians and Apocalypse women survivors to mix and match, finished a few and will post pictures of the results hopefully soon.

Well done. :o

Those kitbashes are sweet!  You really have me excited for the arrival of my next hobby order.  The older survivor with the map is awesome; He probably has some stories to tell.

Thanks guys!
I got the wolves finished. I picked a dark brown colour scheme, partly because that's similar to the one they had in hobbit, and I always thought they looked really nice, and partly to make them stand of the base more.

Unfortunately the bottom of the pic got cut off.

A better look.

And finally I picked some scenery for my Caravanners...

Still a WIP until I fill the stalls, but so far I'm happy.

That's it for now.

A dozen-dozen curios please.  8)

Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

Been really busy recently, so the post apoc is moving forward at a snails pace. However I did manage to finish another freelancer, a wasteland hunter.

That's it for now.

Hello again.

This time around I've only managed to finish a couple more of the inhabitants of Scrapton, the town that our group's TNT adventures/campaigns revolve around, as well as a few pieces of scatter.

First off a Deadman to add to my freelancer pile. (sorry for the pic quality)

Next a Mutant Emissary for my Caravanners.

Roberto Hinchley, the nefarious mayor of Scrapton, who seems in league with the Trog infestation that lurks in the disused mines on the edge of town. A very sinister character indeed.

And finally the scatter terrain.

That's it for now. Hope you like 'em, and as always any advice or criticism is welcome.

I've seen some very effective Post-Apoc terrain that turns the rust and dirt all the way to 11 and really liked it.  You manage a pretty clean simple style, but it still rings true to me.  Well done! Keep em coming.  :)

Just stumbled across this thread, some very lovely kitbashed minis here  :D! I like the pretty crisp but effective scatter terrain as well and the nice little touches (like the sign that says: The End is HERE  lol).

Well done indeed.

Thanks!
I managed to finish up another couple of guys, before work takes over RL again.

James Lan'easter, Mayor Hinchley's right hand.

And a Mercenary Gunsmith

That's it for now.

I was thinking of repurposing some of the PP Cephalyx kits, but having never played warmachine or hordes i have no idea of the scale. Does anyone here have experience with the PP kits compared to the BA stuff?

Missed your last update somehow. The gunsmith is very slick.

You have created some very interesting and above all, believable characters. Kudos!  :D

That gunsmith for hire is hot!  Really cool figure.  I think it depends on what you are looking for in the PP range.  There is quite a leap in scale from BA's 28mm (sort of heroic but more short and chunky for 28s) to the PP range which is heroics at 30mm+.  It depends on what you raid the range for.  Big scary monsters will be bigger, scarier monsters and probably work just as well.  A "normal" person will be a bit larger but picking an appropriate model might give you a large person that works well in the adjusted scale or an 8' tall ballet dancer (unless that's what you are looking for :) ).

Cheers guys. I'm pretty happy with how the gunsmith turned out, he's the first kitbash I've done so far where every bit is from a different kit. And thanks horrid, I actually thought the PP stuff was 28 not 30, so I see what you mean. Guess the cephs could still work as opponents/encounters.

So I took a slight break from painting minis, while I wait for another hobby delivery and tried my hand at some more terrain.

That's all for now.
