Axiom's superb governor from his Colony 87 range. Full of character, lots of fun to paint.

Ooh, those cloak checks look a bit sloppy when the figure is larger than life.

Very nice brushwork on these figures sir. I enjoy the free flowing pulp alley rules too and it is no means stuck to the pulp genre. I have found creating a new plot point table very helpful for keeping the narrative more in keeping with my Fallout/Firefly universe.

Its in BETA and a google doc if you would like to see.

Thanks gents, glad you like him. Constable - I would be interested in seeing that. We don't often use those tables, but it would be great to see your ideas about plot points. Will pm you.

By the way, did you end up getting a Pulp Alley game going for MOAB? I used to get there while I was in Sydney some years back.

Edit: just saw your blog - terrain for the Pulp Alley games looks fantastic!

Thanks Bill, yeah we had a few games of PA there. I was mostly showing kids through the rules but it went quite smoothly.

I rather wish I could have a game with Mila and Dave, because I'm sure we are doing some stuff wrong, but it's enjoyable. And I really like the fact it has simple vehicle rules as well. Not many skirmish games have that level of vehicle access, from ponies to mechanical walkers and planes! You can have normal cars, (ala mad max 1) or cars with weapons (ala 40k) and everything in between. From our one test so far, characters generally go squish when hit by vehicles, at least the zombies did in our 2 lap 'circus' :D :D

Again perhaps I'm doing it wrong, but a few small house rules cover any holes and keep the game flowing pretty smoothly.

I appreciate your comment on the Google doc. A lot was based on the PA tables and the type of things they had there, but then other items were created from a 'what would a survivor be looking for' point of view. Perhaps for your space opera you could go somewhere in between? Also do as the rules suggest and roll on the table before the game starts, I forgot to do that at MOAB and it was a bit weird.

Yes, the rules do cover a lot of stuff, which is really impressive: especially good for sci fi.

I'd actually forgotten the original plot point tables were set out that way! Long time since I've looked at them. But lots of good ideas in yours. At some stage I'll have to sit down and add in some uniquely 40k type stuff.
