40k for Pulp Alley - update September 6: campaign finale
« on: 07 September 2015, 01:48:05 PM »
Most of my painting at the moment is focused on uniting two loves - the world of 40k (in particular, the fanatics and fighters of the Imperium) and the rules of Pulp Alley. I have one or two campaigns planned for next year, and I'm beavering away now with those in mind.

Everything goes up on the blog, but I'll post the more interesting miniatures and the finished leagues here. The first of those is one I've just finished and am particularly proud of. Johann Tzel is a reliquarist, an expert in picking genuine relics from the mass of fakeries that beguile the devout but dim masses of the Imperium.

I'm especially happy with Tzel, as he started life as a Reaper Alchemist and ended up looking quite like the picture that inspired me.

Oh my, that is very nice work. Have you picked up pulp leagues yet? The new setting and weapon rules really help bring pulp 40K together.

Yes, I snapped it up pretty quickly. Loving the additions for different 'genres', will definitely be using them.

Just something small - a couple of cyber rats. They're a little crude, but they'll add some nice flavour to the table. Heroquest rats with guitar string tails and various bits box doodads.

What surgery graduate do you imagine is spending his/her time knitting the rats nerves with bionic hardware?

And I'M the wacky one   ;) lol

Great work by the way.  I like the skull plate on the rat that has had brain surgery.
