Pictures of the Monolith Conan figures
« on: September 29, 2015, 05:13:51 AM »
The first pictures of the production figures for Monolith's Conan game. Somewhat blurry so far, but promising....

Please share new pictures of these minis and what you have done with them!

For all other things about the Conan KS look here http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=67940.825;topicseen

Better to link this back to the main Conan thread:

Nice, for a board game, which is their main goal. Not that nice for using them in wargames.

Haha. I plan to prove You wrong  :D

I had no idea there was an official Conan thread btw. Does that mean we cannot post here anymore?

Two threads for the same topic is verboten (2.10):

More than anything, it allows all of us following the other thread to see these photos and not miss them.

They look pretty good, as far I can see on these general overview picture. Hope they release more close-ups soon ( and I wish they would have done so before closing the PM ).
So, whether in this topic or the other one, if anybody has, please post them  ;).

My intention was to start a specific thread about the miniatures. The other one is about the Kickstarter, postage rates, shipping speeds etc etc.

However, if an admin should so rule that all things Conan should belong in the same thread (how will we ever find anything again?) I will of course defer to that ruling.

You're missing the point.  If you read through the Conan thread you'd see (as with all KS threads) it's about the KS...and then follows it through with announcements, screen shots, models in progress, artwork etc.  There isn't a reason this should be its own thread.  It's not a project, it's not personally owned models etc.  When people start getting their hands on the game and playing it, painting stuff etc...you'll see a lot more separate Conan threads.

Right now, this kind of information fits 100% into the Conan thread which is 50+ pages long.  It also keeps all the relevant information in one spot.

No need to come down too hard on Pijlie guys. If the mods disapprove, I'm sure they'll take care of things.

Hi,

It's not quite two threads for the exact same topic, but in order to keep it clear what goes where, there should be a link in the figure thread pointing to the Kickstarter, and a note that the figures thread should be used for discussing the figures exclusively. All discussion on the Kickstarter's proceedings should be dealt with in the Kickstarter thread ONLY.

Cheers
WK
