Waiting for Conan (Monolith Games)
« on: September 24, 2016, 06:34:11 AM »
Hello,

The time waiting for my pledge was used to build the first board.
I think, I have to show you what I have done.

First an overview of the Pict village :

And then, some details :

Hope you like it…

OK, now, time to paint the minis !

That is a BEAUTIFULLY crafted, painted, & WONDERFULLY detailed creation...Crom would approve. VERY WELL DONE!
Are there any roofs in the Village's future?

To all,

Thank a lot !

Hi Deaf,

If the roofs are a feature for the game, Yes, there will be roofs ! (In fact, they are under way...    ;)  )

Excellent attention to detail - really looks the part (though did a corner snap off?).

Yes, the missing corner is a great cliff, droping to the sea. Very difficult to show... :? :?
So, I prefer not to try to paint flat a cliff... Not good enough to do that !

Well done. :-*
Love it, shows time well spend,
to bring the board to life.
Can't wait to see figures on it.

That is amazing. No waste of time at all.
I am also waiting for that game. I should have been as clever as you !

Wish you lots of fun for game 1

Cheers

Wow...looks great.

Only one minor thing that to me is distracting... have you considered swapping out the white space lines for maybe something darker, and/or recessed into the ground (mabe ragged cracks in earth, etc.)?

Thanks.

@pacarat : I wanted to be the more exactly possible the same as the board itself... and... no I haven't though of that...
I have to reconsider it !
