Yep, it's the first thing I actually want from that game. Not sure if I want it enough to get one tho but it's rather nice 8)

Yes, I'll take one of those. Or two.

Good find. Thanks.

Don't suppose anyone's seen a price yet?

Very nice pending the cost.

I'm concerned that, as nice as it is, it'll be expensive. I already have a flying HK and a tracked HK from pegasus that I intend to build for use with the core box. I'd love to pick up some more figures and a spider tank, but no one locally seems to be carrying anything other than the base game. Ordering from Europe with the current exchange rate plus shipping is sadly just not an option at the moment.

The Pegasus stuff is pretty expensive in the UK. How do they scale against the box minis?

Up for preorder now along with a few new minis including arnie on bike and resin resistance.

£39.99 is a little pricy.

I can live with £40.00 for a vehicle, especially considering its size, but £37 for 6 resistance fighters is asking a bit much.

Fair point. I might be guilty of being the pot calling the kettle black. I bought them in the  summer when the exchange rate was a lot better from Canadian to US. I think I paid $120CAD for the tracked tank and $75 CAD for the flying one. The tracked one is a little large, but it's suitably impressive. I only wish I had time to build them both, but they're lower priority since I still have to paint the base box resistance figures.

Anything priced in GBP needs to be doubled (or possibly a bit more) right now to convert into CAD. That'd put that resistance set mentioned by Wachaza at $75 CAD...which is WAY too much for a half dozen plastic models in my opinion. If that's going to representative of the prices going forward River Horse may have effectively priced me out of buying anything beyond the starter box for the game.

Those are resin figures - Warlord Games sells the plastic Resistance at £25 for 16 figures.

OK, resin is still a kind of plastic, and it wouldn't have killed River Horse to put three or four more bodies in with all the extras, but you can get figures cheaper from Warlord.

That thing screams Mechanoids from the old Rifts game.  I like it, but the price is absurd (when converted to US...nearly $100)

It is a bit steep, isn't it? It's still a neat model but not quite that neat.

The price is a little high but first off it's resin which is never the cheapest material (and the Spider tank was never going to be able to be done in HP and metal would have been crazy) and being a licensed product there will be a royalty they need to pay which won't be insignificant.
As for the Resistance fighters, we will be getting metal versions of these which will be more reasonable priced.  I like these as they give you plenty of options (even Infiltrator Terminators) so I'll be picked up a couple of the metal sets.

Yes same, when they are released in metal I'll likely pick some up.

I still don't think the spider tank is too unreasonably priced for what it is.

Ah I didn't realize the products released after the core set were resin and not plastic. I would prefer metal or plastic personally; I am not a good enough painter to bring out the added detail resin provides, and thus don't really care to pay the extra money.

Brummie is right as well in that a licensed product incurs higher costs for the licensee, which then gets handed down to the consumer. I'm very familiar with this through my Batman addiction.

It may be that I don't need to collect more additional models for Terminator beyond a handful. I'd like a T-1000, Sarah, perhaps a young John Connor and maybe a motorcycle mounted Arnie w/ dismounted figure. I'm unlikely to play many large troop sized games beyond what's in the box set...but I do wish I could afford more than that. :(
