Nice treasure tokens.

I can only imagine what magical applications troll turd must have for it to be so valuable.

Well, if bat guano is used for fireballs then troll turds must be for the mystical equivalent of napalm.  :o

Italeri 1/35 scale Village Fountain, fits perfectly.

Picked up some Playmobil rocks for cheap to use in Frostgrave (and plenty of other places I reckon)

And some progress on the Playmobil Inca temple base, filled in the holes and plated over the hole so I can paint it as a pond.

Also, went for cheap and based up some surplus Skaven rats to use as ....well, rats. Also good for WHQ and Pulp and what not.

Something arrived today. Something quite big.

Another Playmobil bit for peanuts, this one came with a bag full of Knights and stuff that I just dropped off with my neighbour with 4 kids....just in time for Sinterklaas. I had hoped the rocks came off, and they do, but then you have a big gaping hole so that's no help. The walls seem a bit high but as climbing is so easy in Frostgrave, again no problem. Still waiting for my paint before I do any more work on my scenery, and tomorrow I'll be playing with bare plastic again. Oh well....

Wow, nice bit of kit!  :o
The big should hole not be a problem though? Just add a floor under it and make the Frostgrave version of a Rancor pit? Or add a hint of catacombs and subterranean passages? That way you could elect to leave the rocks off and have two pieces of terrain. Or, if you don't feel like doing an interior, fill it up with foam rubble, as if the floor had collapsed?

That PlayMobil piece is fantastic any chance of a pic without the rocks showing said gapping chasm within.

Hmm, completely forgot to make a pic of it without the rocks. We used it like that on friday and it turned out to be a nice scenic piece that was quickly fought over during the battle. I'm leaving the rocks out and will create a pool covering the hole. And I'll base the rocks as is.

I think I overdid these? Maybe a quick drybrushg with gold or keep em as is?

Its one of those realism vs. looks right on the table things, those look pretty close to most statues I have seen, so your doing great on the realism side, however over the years wargamers have developed this separate idea of what a corroded statue should look like.

Finally had time to play a game again instead of guiding them. Loved it. Need to paint more. I did some scenic pieces since my last post, but they are either not finished or had a incident (my static water came away from the pool  :( ). After tonights game I have to keep the promise I made when we started out together, that I would paint every monster that would appear during my own games. So, after tonight, I can add 2 armoured skeletons, 2 wolves and 1 Icetoad to my list. The first 2 groups I have (basing them now) but the toad I do not, and with my current funds it is not likely to be aquired anytime soon unless I can trade someobody for one.

God I love this game, wizard was on a roll tonight, all spells succesful, then he gets mauled down to 1 health by a pack of wolves, I managed to Leap to the top of a nearby tower. Thank God. And then my opponent says that he is going to cast Push. And I roll a 1..... Luck is a fickle mistress. (he failed to do any damage as he rolled miserably too, but still, brown trouser moment!)

Meanwhile I will leave you with the pic of a new statue I found at the thriftstore....she is wearing a hooded cloack so it looks suitably wizardly to me (that and I can use it for Cold War USSR game locations as it is hideous/peasantly enough). Painting it as soon as possible.

(The text mentions that Sarah knows where Abraham gets the mustard from. Good for you Sarah. I filled in the text with filler and basecoated her)

Shall I do her bronze or stone?
