Does any one here have any of the other world fantasy line? I am wondering how well claymore and they mix. Might have to use some as town guards or merc's

That said (and I'm sure this has been asked a gabillion times before, but) any idea how Claymore scale in with Perry?

I can imagine the initial Claymore sculpts by Mr Hicks would be a pretty good fit. But knowing Matthew's sculpting work for Boot Hill, I wonder if these might be a bit on the chunky side to sit alongside the Perry WOTR/HYW ranges?

Ask and ye shall receive....

OK, as you can see, the Perry pikeman on the left is noticably bigger than the Claymore equivilant on the right (who, although in a slightly more "hunched" pose, is mounted on a thicker base).

However, a comparison of the Perry knight with the Claymore knight shows much more of a parity (both mounted on the same thickness base this time).

However, however, however, on putting the Perry knight back in his blister, I noticed that compared to the unarmoured musician in the same blister, he appears quite puny, so overall it seems that it differs on a figure by figure basis.

Overall, i've found the the claymore figures to be cleaner casts, with better definition of the fine detail, if possibly featuring less "intricate" detail than the Perry's in places. So pretty much swings nd roundabouts, then....

They are lovely and I cannot help but say how good the Claymore sculpts are and how well they are cast.

These will come in more than handy for a certain historical project!

Brilliant stuff David, Andrew and kudos to Matthew for producing such beautiful sculpts :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

I couldn't tell you right now,  but since I can feel my resistance crumbling daily that may well change pretty soon.

would you happen to know how Crusaders HYW would scale with Claymore?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Unlike their Wars of the Roses line (which would fit but would be anachronistic) the HYW sculpts are a lot chunkier and a little taller.

Putting on another order for my LR Islemen today! :)

Hi guys,
Sorry just seen these questions. To answer...

The next set of 8 Pavasiers are away to the casters just now. The Turn around is two or three weeks.
Matt is now working on French foot and mounted knights.

Sorry, we do not have a USA stockist. But we post to the States regularly.

David

Cheers,
