I agree with both of them. :D

Thanks  :D

I've given up on the light so full pics will have to wait until tomorrow (and the river will be fully cured by then). Just a reminder that this is the beginnings of my arid board, with all or some of the tiles being used to play a variety of genres/projects: the first likely to be played is a fighting retreat  (by the British) during the Second Afghan War, 1880.
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2025 = 74
(2024 = 38; 2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

Mate, that's great!  :-* I'd love a game of 7th Voyage on something like that!

Gotta agree.
So versatile, you could play any number of games on that set-up.

Cheers Chaps  :D

Yeah, I guess it would suit 7th Voyage too. Basically, I'm going for many projects on a few boards, so there's this Arid one, I have the Temperate in the GoT thread, and st some point I'll start reworking the Snow. The plan is to just add more tiles as each game or project demands it.

Any ways, as the board was out and the light was falling I thought I'd try something atmospheric. No fancy photography - just my IPhone  with a torch as a light source - and no editing except to remove the dining chair that showed top right.

Ooo, thanks all  :D

And now the biggie! 20 images from the iPhone. No photo trickery (trimming of first photo excepted).  ;)

The short veg/salad is made using tiny bits of Woodland Scenics clump foliage or coarse grass, keeping it low so minis can stand on it, a technique which I think I first saw used by Captain Blood on his FIW board.

It looks great, sir.
Bleedin' lovely board, full of little nooks and crannies that will add so much to games played on it.

Very sweet Table! I like the natural distribution of plants on the Board. It looks very natural to have more vegetation at the water then in the hills and desertsides. Easy, logical point, but to keep it in mind while doing it ia the other part^^
