Yup - amazing as always. The whole show from go to woe is just inspiring (and a little crazy  ;D) - that anyone could envision and produce such results in such a time frame.

Hats off SI.  :)

Thanks chaps  :D

I have to say though, the Brits are infuriating me! I keep snapping off the thin 'lunge' bayonets...... aaaarrrrrgggghhhh
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2025 = 74
(2024 = 38; 2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

I hate bayonets on figures.
I usually just cut them off at the very start to save the bother of them getting broken during a game....

But the Empire was won at the point of  the bayonet!  :o :D

Anyways, progress: Brits almost painted.

Just the infantry at this stage, as the lancers aren't required for the first game (Friday). The tufts need trimming and painting and then they're done.

Btw, those be 'blood marker' at the rear of the shot; they will be used in the game to indicate who is due a morale test at the end of the turn (my rules don't have reactionary morale tests, which allows units to be hit multiple times during a turn, which can be decimating).

And regarding morale, the very close proximity of Bobbie the dog gives +1 to the Brits. And no, shooting Bobbie isn't permitted.  ;)

Excellent Steve they look great. :)

They do, and kitted out so quickly too.
Your production-line painting amazes me at times.

 :) Thanks.

Some examples of the finished minis.

For completeness, I'll add unit shots of all the minis, perhaps later today.  :)

Great looking close action with multiple Khyber knives evident. One of those "sergeant looks white" episodes  lol Looking forward to your adventures!

Thanks. I'm looking forward to playing with them. I also have more to make!  :

EDIT: as these are plastic conversions have added comments on the source of major parts, which with odd exceptions are by Perry.

Command:

Rifles:

Rifles (some are cut and shuts for front-foot poses):

Chief (IIRC foot has WotR legs and Zouave torso; mounted is WotR horse, Nap legs and Zoauve torso):

Banner (IIRC foot is the Zoauve flag bearer):

Sharpshooters (from WW2 with rifles cut and shut to become muskets and arms etc lengthened re scale difference):

Muskets (mostly from Zoauve but some from Ansar; some have WotR legs to change stance):

Muskets (firing poses use arms from either Ansar, Colonial Brits or Euro Merc crossbows):

Muskets (sheepskin wearer is an AWI militia conversion):

Swords and pistols (curved blades are mostly from Nap sabres; straight blades mostly from WotR swords):

Swords (shields are from Northstar Frostgrave):

Mounted (arms with reins are from drummers with drumstick):

Dismounted alternates (shields are from Ansar):

Thanks Richard  :)

As (aside from some of the Brits) they're all conversions, i've edited the post to add notes on some of the source parts.
