+8 shooting attack, +5 shooting attack etc

Hello folks

I'm new to the Frostgrave scene. Not yet played, but really liking the rulebook and it seems like a campaign with a few people would be a lot of fun.

A quick rules query please. Spells where you make a +8/5/whatever shooting attack, such as Bone Dart and Elemental Bolt. Do you also add any + or - from your Shoot skill to this roll? I can't seem to find any reference to this in the book at all.

Reference is that this is a Shoot Attack. Therefor normal ahooting rulees are applied...

I thought you didn't add your shoot attack to it. That's how I've played it.

For shooty spells you don't add your shooting stat, but the target adds cover bonuses etc.
