A WW2 eastern front 12mm game using a homebrew set of rules and Minifigs, Wargame South, 20th Century & Trumpetier 144th scale models.
A collegue asked for an intro to wargames, so we played some Frostgrave on my home table.
Well, some will have seen these pictures before and will roll their eyes. It's been more than three years since I've had a game at the house. Largely because I have been on an unending job search for nearly two years. I have had games at a couple of friends' houses, but don't have pics to show.This is a WWII hypothetical Soviet counter attack with the stands representing a squad and the vehicles and guns representing 1 vehicle or gun. Mix of 1/72 and 1/76:The above scene in a farm complex is just beyond the distant hill in this image, below:Throw this one in too, I guess. In the picture below, the T-26 tanks on the hill in the above picture have come down and one of the farm's buildings can be seen to the left. In the bottom left corner, a T-26 has demonstrated exactly what it thinks of the German Pak 36 that gave a lot of grief to that column of tanks in the above picture. The infantry battle at the farm in the first picture above is taking place to the left of the picture.
'A Good Day To Fight!' Wild West action with the US Cavalry campaigning agin the Cheyenne... it didn't end well for 'Yellow Hair'...
