Thanks for all the tips guys. I will try them out and show the results with some more pics.
The buildings were mounted on card. Not my best decision as it is slightly warped. I usually mount my buildings on hard board but these were small and I thought I would get away with it. Some of the small bits of jungle were mounted on card but they have not warped.
All the bigger bits and the river are mounted on hard board.
The thatched roofs are made from old bath towels and watered down PVA glue.

Grim thanks for the compliments but I don’t think my stuff will ever compare to your amazing terrain. But I will keep trying.

Love the bridge. Is the centre section removeable for the obligatory "hero-falls-through-the-bridge" scene ?

I thought it might be a bit fiddly to make but it was a lot easier than I thought (I used to be a boy scout lol). The actual making of the bridge section only took me about an hour total, with some waiting time in the middle for some super glue to set on the knots so they would not come undone when laying the wooded planks. Still to finish painting and flocking to match the other pieces of scenery.

Sorry! no the middle does not fall out. Wouldn’t be much of a fall away, 2” into the water.
Now that I know how to make a bridge I might make one that crosses a deep gorge. Characters can fall from that one. >:D

nice work!!I really like the pitfall :-* :-*I've been toying with a scenario using one , and yours is really well thought out and better executed than anything I would have come up with!So is this going to be used for pulp style games  straight colonials or a bit of both?
