« on: January 13, 2009, 10:01:20 PM »
Ok so I cheated a bit,

Pegasus Ibzas 5 of them

Pegasus fences and walls

Pegasus Barrels and oil drums

Trees by me (but already seen in previous thread)

I was trying to depict a Russian farm where Whites will be holding out, the Bolsheviks will find them and a battle will ensue,

Here are some pics, hope you like them, sorry for the quality

Overview

Some close ups of the buildings

The Whites wait.........

More to come  :D

Oooh. Those Pegasus wooden shacks look quite versatile...
Are they kits? How much do they cost? And where'd you get them?  :D
Shaping up into rather a nice layout, Dodge.  :)

PS. Any chance of you making your pics a bit bigger?
Is that the size they come out, or are you resizing them to the small dimensions?

We've seen some Pegasus building kits at wargames shows which included at least one Russian one, but didn't pay much attention to price thinking they were 20mm.... having seen these we'll have to look for them at Vapnartak or the Triples

Very nice Dodge old boy, I echo what the otehrs have said, that Pegasus stuff is rather good. I have seen their stuff on Ebay before and have often admired the fences packs.

Guys thanks for your comments.

Svenn it is close to the border, the whites are in retreat from the bloshies and it s all chaos. The chinese will have a greater part of the action later, in fact possibly the most.  :D

This is the first part of the campaign I'm developing basically because it was easier to start with the buildings.

I thought that I would get used to the T&T rules by building small senarios together.

The buildings used are Pegasus 1/72nd  kits which were all put together in 1.5 hours plus painting time which was a bit longer. But they are possibly in between 20mm and 28mm because as you can see they do not look too small. In fact the fences walls and barrels are 28mm from the same people but again fit well.

There are three kits 1 two storey log house , 1 x 2 russion log houses , and 1 x 2 russian farm houses. all purchased from modelhobbies.co.uk for £16.41 plus postage. fantastic value for a great product.

Captain, photo's and the size are the bane of my life, I load up to blogger then transport here. I will try to resize if I can within the text.

Again thanks everyone the game will come soon ..........................

Argonor beat me too it and is quite right  :D

Also the 'Gothic City Ruins/Buildings' are listed as 1/72, but they are very nice for 28 mm, too  :)

Thanks Hazel the trees came out really well, but are fragile because they are made from seafoam.

I am going to finish the box off shortly as they only take a very short while to make, in fact the polyfiller takes longer to dry than it does to make and paint them.  o_o

Great choice on thos Pegasus buuldings - for allegedly 1/72 scale the stand up pretty well against your large 28mm Copplestones. Being nice generic buildings they could be used for all sorts of projects with little or no work.

They are very versatile Dave, I bought them on the back of a French Indian wars thread, I was not disappointed at all.

Anything board needing a wooden building with a thatched roof, these would be ideal.

I need to get some more, they are good value.
