Kobolds in large numbers with good tactics, traps, and tricks, can bring down even higher level parties.  One of my favorite foes.

Speaking of pillbugs...

I knew I'd seen some somewhere. This one was used as a mount for fungus-guys, but hey, why not kobolds, too. Use a really big one as a siege engine transport.

Here's the sculpt I did. Mutant so I didn't have to have it anatomically correct and allowed me to sculpt poorly (I'm happy with it)
For some reason I didn't take photos after changing the mandibles at the front (or whatever you call that part)

Really like that pillbug. Looks good for a non-threatening type mount.

I received a couple of dollies and I couldn't keep myself from painting one up. They're really small (like proper lvl1 monsters should be) and yet really well detailed.
The centipede is almost ready too, and more spears with proper armour, and bows and the champion and the shaman.

More pics of everybody soon.

Looks great - and would make a terrific 15mm lizardman too!

You'd need to field a horde of them for a proper challenge...

So how much will a horde cost?

(Kobolds need bows, or blow-guns. Some sort of missile troops - I've always played 'em as leery of getting into melee with "Biggers" unless they seriously outnumber their foe.)
from Mr.Vampire: "It's the paintjob that makes the miniature fight harder not the size."

Very nice. Really level one as you say. I could imagine a hero just wading through them with wild swings.

I now have an initial set of minis, and I like them so much that I'll certainly keep expanding this range.

Lvl1 - wars - here I come!

(The big guy obviously needs his feet)

More soon!

These are excellent! When are you releasing them?

Glad you like them. I am planning a crowd funding campaign that features, Kobolds, Halfling raiders and a small set of rules written by that Mersey guy. I think the campaign will go live in Oct./Nov.

All of them are lovely but that centipede really does it for me.

For some reason I feel like those kobolts would look great in a very dark skin colour with skull face paint.
