I read the rules, they're brilliant! Very elegant! I love the long term potential of a campaign and that those rules are built in, if not released as of yet.  The time between now and publication will give an opportunity to get stuck into the rules!

Glad you like it man. The core rules you're reading will stay the same in the full rulebook from Osprey while there will be three additional warbands and a pretty unique Campaign section that details a lot of the goings-on between games.

The hope is that the demo rules let folks come to grips with the core mechanics and build some appropriate terrain and model collections for when the book comes out so they can just jump right into playing!

I remember all those cool terrain pieces you had (I want to make cool power poles too) on your old site and am looking forward to seeing your project come to fruition.  Congratulations !  Stan has a copy I and I'm almost certain I remember seeing a draft you shared ages ago (I was sure my body would go first but the the mind is the first casualty).

I have a growing collection of walkers eager to become zombies (painting TWD atm) so they can assist in trying out Last Days.  We are playing Frostgrave and exchanging cool games we bumped into since we last caught up on Saturday.  Our "vanilla" friends aren't going to play round one with us   but I'll bring my camera and hopefully we can sucker them in with some flashy pics .  If the pics don't work I'll trash talk them about how afraid they are to play and lose to me because I am the very model of a min/max gaming strategist and the dice love me almost as much as my cat (Hopefully they lurk here.  This could work ).
